Sixth Form Curriculum
Our Sixth Form Curriculum is designed to help pupils develop as an individual, both academically and personally.
With a choice from 24 different subjects at A-Level, PGS offer pupils the opportunity to find their focus for their future and spend Sixth Form studying subjects they are passionate about. The in-depth nature of A Levels allows pupils to quench their intellectual curiosity and the small classes at PGS offer space for creativity and collaboration.
Academic and Personal Enrichment
Embedded within our curriculum, our academic enrichment programme at PGS is designed to allow pupils to excel in higher education and the work place; becoming deep thinkers, critical enquirers and intellectual risk-takers
This timetabled programme assists in securing places at the most competitive universities in the UK or abroad. We provide a dynamic and future-proof approach to academic enrichment that will give pupils the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to become innovators and leaders of the next generation.
Alongside this the Personal Enrichment Curriculum helps to form the pupil’s personal development through exciting, rewarding and hugely enjoyable opportunities, providing an inspiring platform for the future. At PGS we look beyond university destinations and encourage pupils to about life at 25, preparing them to have enriched and productive careers, leading to fulfilled, happy and purposeful lives. We dedicate specific timetable space within the week to support this through our Ignite! programme, our Community, Action and Workplace projects and our Pastoral Curriculum.
