Squash

PGS are U16 National Mixed Squash Champions!

After winning all of their qualification matches, our U16 Mixed squash team of Hattie B, Will A, Seb CA, and Lucy A attended the National Squash Finals on Monday at the famous Edgbaston Priory Club. They won all of their matches, without any player dropping a single game, with wins over Lincoln Minster School and Felsted School to become National Champions!

Our U18 Squash team have also qualified for the National Finals today (for the third year in a row) and we wish them all the very best.

U18 Girls Rugby 7s

On Wednesday the Girls' Rugby team travelled to compete in the Hampshire 7s The game against Peter Symonds was tough, but they progressed to the final of the Plate, winning 15-12 in the final to become the Under 18s Ladies Hampshire 7s Plate champions!

Warwick School Rugby 7s

A very well done to the 51 boys across four age groups who took part in the annual Warwick School 7s last weekend, involving an overnight stay and a full day of 7s. With the exceptionally high calibre of the tournament, it was great for our boys to test themselves against quality opponents. The U15 boys in particular rose to the challenge, coming second in their group after beating King's Worcester and Shrewsbury School and losing a good game with the eventual tournament winner's Warwick School. They then played Ipswich School in the Cup QF, who had won all of their group games at a canter, and only a try with the very last play of the game put Ipswich through a titanic battle.

Hockey Update

Our U18 boys have qualified for the Tier 3 National Finals at Nottingham on Monday 24th March. We wish them all the very best for the day.

Also this week, our U13 boys lost in the final of the Hampshire Festival, and the U14B boys won their group and ultimately came third in their Hampshire Festival.
